The CrossWord java applet allows a web page designer to include crossword puzzles in a web page. The viewer can solve crosswords designed in Crossword Express.

Instructions

• Click and drag mouse over any word. It gets highlighted.
• An edit box at the bottom of the crossword allows editing of the selected word.
• A text field below displays the clue for the currently selected word.
• A hint mode highlights wrong letters.

  Parameters:

  • Title the title of the crossword.
  • Rows the number of rows in the crossword matrix.
  • Cols the number of columns in the crossword matrix.
  • Words the total number of words in the crossword (Across and Down).
  • CellSize the size of each cell of the crossword matrix.
  • Margin the left margin to draw the crossword.
  • NormFont point size of letters in the crossword.
  • NumFont point size of cell numbers in the crossword.
  • CWE Name of Crossword Express File containing puzzle.
