PuzzleDepot has been free since 1995. If our 45,000+ puzzles have helped you train your mind, consider a small tip to help keep the lights on.
We've kept PuzzleDepot free for 30 years through a mix of advertising and modest premium subscriptions. Most users never pay a cent and we'd like to keep it that way. But server costs, puzzle development, and curator time keep growing as the empire expands across 60+ educational sites.
The tip jar exists for the people who'd genuinely like to support the project but don't need (or want) a premium subscription. Maybe you only solve a few puzzles a month — premium would be overkill, but you've gotten enough value to want to chip in.
Tips are voluntary — never required. The puzzles stay free regardless. We don't gate features behind tips, we don't beg for donations on every page, and we won't add countdown timers or "last chance!" pop-ups. This page exists, and that's enough.
All amounts process securely via Stripe. One-time tips, not recurring. No account or signup required.
Tips fund the actual line items that keep PuzzleDepot running. No corporate overhead games.
Cloud hosting (Linode + Cloudflare), database storage, CDN bandwidth for 45,000+ puzzles. The non-negotiable infrastructure layer.
New puzzle design, daily editorial, themed packs, fact-checking, image creation. The fresh material that keeps the site alive.
Linking with a2zwordfinder, a2zwords, puzz, and 17 iFind educational sites. Building the broader network of free learning tools.
Spreading the word, joining the newsletter, leaving a review — all genuinely help keep PuzzleDepot growing.
Whether you tip, subscribe, share with a friend, or just solve a few puzzles each morning — every form of support means PuzzleDepot keeps going for another year. We've kept the lights on since 1995 because of people like you. That's not a tagline — it's the actual unit economics of free educational content on the internet. Thank you.
