How To Play

Objective: Sports Fanatic Trivia is a multilevel trivia game in which your goal is to answer as many questions as possible as quickly as possible. For each level, you will be given 10 questions to answer. You will need to answer a steadily increasing number of questions correctly to advance to the next level. The number of questions needed to be answered correctly in order to advance to the next level is displayed in green on the top right of the screen. The current number of correct answers is displayed in white on the top right of the game. There are 5 levels in all. All players have a chance to win up to 2,000 AwardMiles in a weekly drawing, but the better you do in the game and the more times you play, the better your chances of winning. High scores are displayed from a link on the game intro page.

Game Play: To begin play, click on the flashing bar at the right of the game board. The category wheel will immediately spin as your question category is selected. The longer you hold your mouse when you click the bar, the faster the wheel will spin.

Once your sports category has been selected, the first question will appear in the TV screen-like area above the start bar and the timer will begin counting down from 15. Four possible responses will appear below. To make your selection, simply click on the response you think is correct. If you�re right, a big green checkmark will appear; if you�re wrong, you�ll see an X on your chosen response and the correct answer will flash. If you run out of time you will be prompted to click the bar for your next question. Continue until you complete all 10 questions. At the end of a question round, you will either move on to the next level or be shown your score.

Scoring: Every question answered correctly adds to your score; no points are awarded for incorrect responses. The faster a question is answered the more points you earn, with a maximum value of 1500 points per question.

Prizes: A weekly drawing will be held to determine 3 lucky and sports savvy Fanatic Trivia winners. The prizes are as follows:

All players are eligible for the drawing as every game play equals one entry. Players who are on the leaderboard as of the drawing deadline, 10:59 p.m. (EST) Sunday night, will receive 10 bonus entries.
